National Custodian Day was October 2, 2022. The staff at Weir Elementary surprised their custodians, Theo Hill, Lakesha Fair, and Carlean Hemphill, with goody baskets to show how much they are loved and appreciated! They do a fantastic job of keeping WES clean and bright!

Mr. Dennis Moen, who is a Navy Veteran and grandfather to McKenzie in 2nd grade came to pay a special surprise visit to our second-grade class. The students were very polite and thanked him for his service. He told them what he did in the service required an understanding of math and science - he was so kind, showing the students how math and science related to his job - and let them know what they are learning now is important for their future
