On Friday, Ms. Conerly’s and Ms. Fairley’s Kindergartners enjoyed their trip to the Homecoming parade.

Weir Elementary 1st and 2nd grade students and teachers enjoyed watching the homecoming parade. The students were so excited about the cool superhero outfits and shirts and wanted to send out a BIG Thank YOU. #WeirExcellenceShines




We want to thank Ms. Larson (who grew up in Staten Island) for presenting a 911 classroom presentation at Weir Elementary School. Students participated in discussion questions and asked good questions. It was a great history lesson. #WeirExcellenceShines











Chase's 2nd-grade students are helping each other problem-solve. Some 2nd-grade students have learned to be great peer tutors helping 1st-grade math students with their math skills. Building their understanding and confidence. #WeirExcellenceShines






Mrs. Hunt's 5th grade goes to the Conservation Carnival today!
From exploring all the amazing exhibits, learning about wildlife, and taking part in some awesome conservation challenges, it was a fun and educational experience for these students!

WES PACE students researched, created, and built their own catapults. Tyrez Cunningham is the winner for launching his the farthest. Cameron Evans and DJ Slater tied for launching theirs the highest. Way to go!

J is for Jellyfish! Ms. Rush and Mrs. White's class had fun cutting, water coloring, and gluing their jellyfish.
