Mississippi Children's Museum Building Equipment

Weir Elementary School first and second grade students visit the Mississippi Children's Museum.  Students engaged in many hands on learning activities.  Students explored the digestive system, rode bikes that showed how their bones work while riding, caught catfish, explored small Mississippi state replicas of important landmarks.  Students played with puppets, played life size scrabble, read books in the Between the Lions Library, and explored the interactive play house.  First and second grade students rocked the Reindeer Sock Rink and slid down the snowflake slide.  It was a great day for the first and second grade students!
